Hello,

Just joined. Got a Fabia VRS about 8 months ago and love it dearly. Only a couple of nigly problems, the air re-cycle system only works for about 30 secs at a time, not sure if it's supposed to do this and the heating gets stuck on full sometimes, but it is cold at the moment so not too fussed about that one right now.

Anybody have any ideas on how to stop the interior door panels from vibrating too much when the stereo is on (no smart **** comments about turning the stereo down please!!)?

Love the car to bits though.

Hello and welcome to Briskoda :)

Don't have a Fabia myself so can't help, pretty sure there are loads of people who can help who will be along soon!

the heater sticking on is a well documented on this site if you do a search... it happens because the flap gets stuck or confused

Hello and welcome.

As Tom eluded to the A/C problem is normally caused by the heater flap motors sticking. If you are still under warrenty ask for them to be changed.

Mine opposite problem.Heatin not work at all been sorted by Skoda once but 2 days later happened again. Luckily under warranty but driving from work at 2.00 am in freezing weather no heating wearing gloves is no joke. Anyone else wih this problem.

Oh tea skoda replaced temp sensr hope they can sort it this time. Not bought from skoda dealer but Rayrigg rover/kia dealers.

fabia 1.4 2001 8v petrol classsic.

If you must play the stereo up full, you need to put anti-resonance baffling behind the cones.
