Easy upgrade for fabia boot light?

Featured Replies

Ok I think I'm deffo getting old - can't see very well with the exisiting fabia boot light.

Has anyone increased the level of light in the boot, if so what did you do?

Thanks

Bas

(and yes, I have checked my eyes........) :D

I put another standard one on the opposite side in SWMBOs Fabia estate and in my Bora. Definitely better than just one.

or you could change the lamp for a G4 halogen they come from 5 - 50watts I should think a 10W one will give enough light. just bend the legs of the lamp up to fit the lamp holder.

Must admit I'm tempted to fit another one on the other side, should be easy to wire up as well :)

Yeah - me too. My "build" is liable to block the light from the left hand light anyway.

Same problem, I hate the Boot light, can anyone recommend a solution besides fitting one on the other side?

My (51 Reg) Estate has lights on both sides of the boot as standard - dunno why they stopped doing this.
