1.9 sdi fuse number 43. any ideas where this controls

Hi all, well if i remove fuse number 43 ( CENTRAL CONTROL UNIT , SELECTER LEVER LOCK FOR AUTOMATIC GEARBOX ) it stops the dash lights flickering, also stops the indicators, internal light and hazards, also labours the headlights coming on.

Where is this control unit kept ?? mine is not an automatic for starters....

at least i have a starting point for the auto electrician tomorrow, wondering now if it is something related to the alarm ??? Door locks, indicators, internal light....all points to it.

i checked the voltage for the new battery. 13.33 stood alone, engine running it read 14.42 so the alternator is working.....

will let you know what the problem is if they find it....
