Diesel Particulate Filter

Featured Replies

Before you nod off, this isn't another thread about the vRS PD 170. Searching for official vehicle figures, I logged on VCAcarfueldata.org.uk - Home Page

clicked on the car icon ("by vehicle make or model")

select - Skoda

- Octavia Estate (from Nov 06 Wk 45 on)

- Diesel

- 2.0 TDI PD 140 M6 or

- 2.0 TDI PD 140 DPF (there's a clue) M6

- Search

- More Info...

Difference IIRC of 5 gms/km CO2 in favour of the DPF model. Same goes for the DSG model (but only 2 gms/km difference sadly). Can't see why there should be a 3% penalty for diesel cars if the nasties are being filtered but what do I know...

Anyone got any further info? Are all models going to have a DPF option or will it be standard?
