Asr...esp..........wtf!

Featured Replies

I have seen some Octavia's with ESP where my button says ASR, was this an option on some vRS's??

I presume ASR was the basic traction aid ....(if you can call it that) fitted to most octavia's.

So what vehicles had ESP fitted on them??

Sorry if this has already been covered...

Cheers.

WTF = What The Fu*k!!!:D

All covered many times elsewhere on the site,

ASR (anti slip regulation) Your basic traction control.

ESP (electronic stability program) combines traction control with the braking system to keep you straight as possible in an emergency situation.

ESP was optional.

Bo!!ocks..... It was never in the options book when I ordered my 52 plate vRS.......:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

Thats grieved me:( :(

Im not sure when it became an option, maybe latter cars only, iirc it was fitted to the WRC edition.

WRC and 4x4 were the only ones to get it as standard i believe :)

WRC certainly does have it :P

I know we get to be all smug about it, but that doesn't help Mr Wonder, now does it? :D
