Fabia going round corners

Featured Replies

Whilst driving swmbo's Fabia round a few roundabouts yesterday, the words "I wish my car could go round corners as well as yours " were heard from the passenger seat.

So what can I do on a tight budget

Would just a rear ARB make much differance on it's own?

YES! hth. :D:thumbup:

Thanks.

What else ?

Thanks.

What else ?

As it's a 2 litre, I would have thought it would corner very well - at least better than a Mustang? ;)

On top of the ARB, I would try to get wheels with wider tyres (205 or 215 wide ones) and perhaps slightly better suspension. I can recommend eibach springs & dampers as a good mod. Both these will push the budget a lot though.

The Jabba ARB is the best signle mod though. :)

There's a GB looking for 1 more IIRC...

Rear ARB highly recommended, also Koni FSDs may be a good upgrade instead of the Eibachs ;) - the rear ARB would take most of your budget though :)

Jabba Rear ARB....BEST MOD THERE IS!!!

My car is modified wise a$$ :grumpy:

Rear ARB bro...your missus will be a happy lady with the hell of a difference it makes to the handling.

You know I meant it in jest. :P ;)

Go for the rear ARB - It's effects have even been felt as far afield as U.A.E, so thats saying something.

although i've got fsd's on my 2.0 i wouln't recommend them, they are good, and the car handles well on them and they are lovely and soft when driven normally, but they do give you the feeling that somtimes you aren't going to make it round the corner but then they tighten up nicely, i think i'd prefer somthing more predictable
