Skoda/VW OEM microphone & Nokia CK-7W car kit

Just fitted the Nokia CK-7W bluetooth kit to my 2001 Octavia. Everything works great but couldn't get the OEM microphone to work with it, ended up using the one that came with the kit.

I cut the kits MP-2 microphone off the end of the cable and crimped the correct terminals (sourced from Vehicle Wiring Products) for the OEM mic on the end but it didn't work. Maybe I need to check my connections are good but don't want to waste my time if it won't work.

Does anyone know for sure if the OEM mic (3B0 035 711B) actually works with the CK-7W?
