Condensation

Featured Replies

I know I posted regarding a Fabia estate TDI elegance:rolleyes: but one of the reasons for opting for it in the first place was due to my other half buying a 55 plate fabia 1.2 hatchback (ambient). I was so impressed with it that when I saw the a Magic Black TDI Elegance estate I thought why not?;)

Ok so that explains why my next question is about the hatchback!:P

My other half used to drive an 02 plate Corsa and one of her pet grumbles (one of many:() is that when she left it all day at work in the winter in the evening the car was literally awash with condensation... Now tonight when she got home she was distraught:O her 2 week old Fabia took 10 minutes ( female time:cool: ) to clear the offending condensation from the windscreen.

Is there a remedy as it is was I who suggested she try the Fabia ( to save some cash:rolleyes: ) in the first place.

Did she have the a/c on? Usually clears the screen pretty damn quick.

Also make sure none of the carpets feel damp.

my 05 fabia {9,000 miles} used to be the same,i'd spend 10 minutes every day drying the screen, then when putting the baby in her seat in the rear, i noticed the insides of the rear doors and the carpets were wet ,since having it fixed last month no more condensation ,it,s bone dry inside

Mine was really bad today , again , no wet carpets , but I think the weather today played a part (dry and sunny for 3/4 of the day , then cloudy , milder and raining) I had to fire the fan on 4 , and the AC on max cold for about 5 mins before the windscreen was cleared.
