Now that I'm using my standard alloys as winter wheels, I fancy treating them to a refurb once I put my TT Comps back on for the summer.

One is particlarly bad from a kerbing incident!:(

Always one to be a little different, I'm thinking of finishing them in gloss white.

I know the Octavia WRC edition had the standard alloys in white, but I can't find any pics. Plus I want to know how they would look on a black Fabia.

Gloss Candy white could work I think Jon. Someone can do an A1 photoshop though, to confirm - we have enough graphics type people on here

Yep, I think they'd look spot on in a bright white colour. Go for it.

Not sure about white against a black car. I'd have thought white alloys would work best on a red vrs

I have always like anthracite. Been thinking of getting mine done? My friend, she has a silver 182 with anthracite wheels and i think they look nice! But then again, the standard coulor looks nice?

Have a set (one egged) of HT3 17" alloys that fit the 5 stud pattern - when I get them fixed I'll get them done in a nice anthracite - I to liked the smoked styling on the 182.

Erm................. nothing I can say about that one!

My TT Comps are finished in Platinum Grey (light anthracite is anyone doesn't know of the colour). Just thought that finishing the standard alloys in white would be different.

Anyway, I've got a couple of months left before I take the winter wheels off for refurbing.
