Engines

Featured Replies

I have seen and heard bits and pieces regarding the engine for the Fabia vRS being different now it has the Euro IV standard.

I have heard that it feels different to drive even though it has the same output.

Just thought i'd see if anyone else has had experience of the two cars as i'm going to renew my 54 Fabia vRS soon and would appreciate any thoughts on the matter. I was also thinking of waiting for the new vRS which will probably be here next year, or should I just take the plunge and get one now?

The only experiences I've heard of are that the newer ones have a stutter @ around 1800rpm.

The Euro4 engines also idle slower than the Euro3s. Not that that really means a great deal! I think it I were you I'd be tempted to wait for the new Fabia VRS.
