VRS 170PD Rattle - from clutch?

I've just taken delivery of a new VRS 170PD which from new has had an annoying rattle under instances of engine 'strain' e.g. reversing, low speed manoevering, pulling away from junctions, crawling along - even with clutch fully engaged.

The dealer thinks it is the clutch bedding in. I'm not so sure as it happens even when the clutch is fully engaged.

Has anyone got any ideas? I originally thought I'd loosened the wiring loom from behind the dash going over a speed bump.
