Hi guys, Left my windows down in the fab and parked on the drive, held down the remote lock button and the windows didnt go up like they do on the golf/A3... anyway put the key in the lock held it closed and sure enough up come the windows,..... is this normal of should the remote do it as well..

Tried searching but couldnt find any threds on this

Total closure is from the key only. You can get an aftermarket kit fitted that will allow total closure via remote... try searching for "alientech" (not sure if spelling is correct) or "total closure".

There's a device that will program the Comfort Convenience unit via the OBD port - search under vagproduct.

However, I believe I have sussed how to do it for free - as soon as I get my serial cable (have a usb one) I will try it out and post the results for everyone here.
