How do i tell if i have the 110 or 90 HP version of the 1.9 TDi Octavia ? 2000 reg ?

Any markings on the engine that will make it obvious ?

If it's in Classic or Ambiente trim then it's a 90bhp.

If it's an Elegance then it's 110bhp

That said , 2000 might be pre-face-lift and it would be LX and GLX as 90bhp and SLX as 110 bhp.

The boot badge should also have a red I for the 110 bhp version.

Have a look in the hand book, the engine code will be in there somewhere.

The engine output (in KW) will be on a vehicle data sticker inside the front cover of the Service Schedule and on a similar sticker under the carpet in the boot.

66kW = 90HP; 81kW = 110HP.
