New weight saving mod - hoover!

Featured Replies

Hoovered my car out this afternoon for the first time in a "fair while" :D

The amount of pebbles and bits of crap that were in the footwells was astonishing, especially the drivers side. I reckon I lightened the car quite a bit.

Did some other weight saving. Gave my new NOS bottle & kit to my mate to take to the garage tomorrow (been rolling around my boot but goti it filled up last night so thought best to not have it rolling around....). Put 9 bottles of the Millers inside the garage putting 2 in the spare wheel well - and in doing so found one bottle was split and I consequently had 200ml of Millers all over the cardboard box and my boot floor :o Think the box soaked most up.

Oh, and I did a 100 mile slowish journey from Devon to Ringwood yesterday lunchtime - 65 mpg. This new Diesel Sport 4 from Millers is doing even better than the previous incarnation, power plus.

Didn't I tell you it STANK of millers in that car!! I think you were enjoying getting high on the fumes!!

You did! And now I know why! Time to get some febreze.... concentrated....

You seem a big fan of millers, might have to look into it and see what happens :)

Is it worth risking after spending all this money on a new engine :P:rofl:

Chris

Cant go much worse :P

Also I should have a fair few spares I may be able to sell off to recoup some of my costs ;)

FWIW

Over 200k on the older Diesel Power Plus - have recommended it to tons of people, no one disappointed.

Still on the old stuff in the vRS, but they are phasing it out and replacing it with the new Sport 4 (suitable for ALL diesels - according to email reply from Millers Tech Dept).

Does the new stuff get you as high as the old stuff if it leaks?

It does smell quite a bit, but doesn't have the same vicious kick that diesel power plus did. I should be thankful of this considering my boot floor is now engrained with it's fragrance.

I think it's worse.

Very Aromatic!
