So I goes into my local dealer and says to him:

"I want a black (and shiny) VRS (must be quick), Fabia, with Xenons, Leather (for the ladies ), heated seats and a third headrest (to hold onto )".

He looks at me at says (with a grin on his face):

" You can't get them anymore".

I've pulled him to one side and said:

"Look pal, I've saved for three years to get this car, and you're telling me I can't get it anymore?"

He says:

"Yes that's right you missed out on the order by a week, but don't worry there's a special edition on its way but you can't customize it .......".

I walked out, head low and shoulders slumped. 3 years of saving all for nothing... I felt like crying.

Two day's later I ring him back and order a LTD ED WOOOOHOOOOOOOO!

I think the blue (as seen on the piccies, and in real life on the new Octavias) is stunning.

And, it will be soooo much easier to keep looking clean than black.

yep... one of the guys on here got the last black one with xeons - he beat me to it by a day.....!

nope im just getting one of the last 22 "normal" vrs's - i could pick it up tommorow but i cant make it for the next few days, hence the 10th. should have waited a couple of weeks and got a blue one, but hey ho, it matches the wifeys red one now.

We always want what we can't have m8. Am sure you can't wait to pick it up

to be honest I think the car will be good you are getting. such a shame you can't get heated seats and xenons they are awesome.

As usual, we always get the crappy options given to us by the UK divisions of Car Manufacturers (either that or we're charged at a premium for the option).

You'd of thought that with the option of leather (and after making sure that the heated seats worked with it), that they'd of included it. Instead we get a CD Auto Changer.....great. Thanks alot.

well, I'm not fussed about heated seats or Xenons, so am glad they haven't put any in and further increased the price.

Then again, I don't care about the sunset glass or cruise control either, but this seemed to be the only way to get my hands on a new one.

To true would have liked esp and heated seats with xeanons too, but you cant be greedy.

My Smartie's got heated seats and they're the best thing ever on a cold day when you're waiting for the heater to warm up, especially on cold leather!

just had a call... it arrives at dealers on tuesday... being supergarded wednesday, picking up saturday
