Special Edition vRS - no, not that one !

Featured Replies

Over on one of the many threads about the new Ltd Ed vRS, someone mentioned a special edition created by West End Garage in Broxburn, nr Edinburgh.

It was called the "Dark" edition

when we first visited the garage to have a look at a vRS, just after Christmas, it was a showroom model.

In Sprint yellow, with:

Anthracite wheels

Different rear light cluster,

Leather

Cruise control

Darkened windows (seem darker than the "sunset" ones)

They eventually sold it, and I'm sure I've seen a black one around Edinburgh as well.

However they decided to specc up another one as a demonstrator, and we drove it the other weekend

I presume that once the dealer has got rid of their allocation of Race Blue Ltd Eds, there'll be no need for them to keep a vRS demonstrator, and so this one would be up for grabs

my wife said she felt very conspicious driving it, but after a while I forgot that it was bright yellow.

Besides, the darkened glass meant no-one would have recognised us anyway. :censored:

Yep i saw that one there aswell, looks pretty smart.

The wheels look good, and the tints make it stand out more.

They are much darker than the normal factory tinted glass.

Dont know if i could drive one about in that colour though :o

I think this one will be available to buy in about 3 months or so.

Spoke to Stuart last weekend, sure he said his Dealership will do them for whoever wants one?? Not too kean on them myself though:thumbdwn:
