This weekend is going to be the making of the mongrel.

Tomorrow and during early next week she'll be being fitted with a "special" turbo (no, even I don't know what type it will be :D) and an experimental performance camshaft which I'll be hoping will give serious extra top end breathing. From what I know, there's no other pd130 with this camshaft in it. I love heading into unknown territory.

I will be offline from the end of tonight until Sunday too - How will I cope with 48 hours offline?!

*cough* brakes :bullwhip:

And there's little me with no decent brakes at all. I imagine the 4 pot cupra R brembos I have waiting to go on are really pants. :D

I know a mech at Seat - he claims that he wouldn't have a Cupra R Leon because of the costs of those Bembro pads?

Hehe good brakes will be needed based on what you're fitting :P

It's gonna be an even more amazing car afterwards no doubt

Yup. Recommended to stick with oem, and the fact I have propane to chuck in with the diesel at the top end boost, means I should fuel enough for the big power I want.

Jason, FYI when I bought my Ferodo DS2500 pads for my 4 pot brembos, they were about

The pads are cheaper than those for the standard 288/312 setup like for like on decent pads such as DS2500's.
