Basically a nice car, and I'll buy another. But its taken ages to sort out little problems. One problem that can't be sorted without a new car is the lack of air con, now standard - the car gets stifling without it, dont understand why (does anyone know why?). Anyway heres the benefit of my experience:

1. Older ones will need new improved anti roll bar bushes to stop front suspension knocks

2. The water pump has plastic bits which fail - doesnt damage the engine apparently but you'll know because the heater won't work.

3. Door seals will need replaced if you notice damp carpets

4. If/when the dashboard starts driving you mad with a creaking noise, stuff something firmly between the middle of the dash and the windscreen

5. If the brake lights keep fusing try getting a new brake light switch fitted

6. Screeching wiper blades - fit Valeo Silencio blades

7. Power steering might get tempremental. Sometimes sorts itself out - if not you need a new sensor.

8. The rear washer tube always pulls apart

Other suggestion for (6) would be to clean the windscreen and blades. I'm like that; always try the cheap fix first!
