I got an e-mail from Shell the other week to advise on the launch of the V Power Diesel and it mentioned that it was rolling out from the SE. But didn't give any indication of the timescale involved for the complete country.

I'll probably just stick with Shell Diesel Plus as i never noticed any differance between that and BP's ultimate when i first got the car.....

Will this "high performance" diesel fuel work in a similar manner to high octane petrols in that only more highly tuned engines will respond to it? I.e., relatively mundane engines like the PD140, is it likely to make much difference?
