does anybody have experience with neuspeed lower temp thermostat and fan switch?

i just took notice on these two parts from awsome gti web page.

it says that those are set to 82 degrees compared to 87 or 90 for standard ones.

is it better to use those in remapped octy 1.8t?

is there a need for something like this at all with 1.8t?
