Hi,

I've been working on my door lock (driver side) and before mounting the metal plate I could open my door, so I mounted it wanted to try it again and now my door won't open:confused:.

I tried it from the outside and I can hear it unlocking but when I pull the handle nothing happens. I tried it from the inside as well (the handle ain't on it but I pulled the cable using a visegrip) and when the door is locked I can see the pin moving up but still can't open it. Seems like since I put in the metal plate the unlock levers can't be pulled back far enough.

I'm on the virge of pulling out my hair so plz if anyone had the same prob or knows how I still can open it plz help.

This one has been solved to for the interested people, I've tightend the cable between door handle and door lock a little to much. Loosend it a my door opens without a fuzz.
