I have a problem with the light in my skoda fabia trunk

When i open my trunk the light doesn't work

then i saw that the light has a + but doesn't have a - (i tried to connect the - with the car tin and the light works)

Why doesn't the light work when i open my trunk?

Where is the switch that makes the contact when i open the trunk?

As i've only got a humble Classic, which (AFAIK,DOESENT HAVE ONE ) can't tell you where the switch is - would suggest that it is somewhere in the area under the tailgate .Usual auto idea is to wire +12volts to lamp, and switch supplies - (or ground) - as you say -putting other end of light to chassis (tin) lights lamp, i would look for switch and investigate poor contact in switch.

The switch is in the catch on the tailgate. I would think either your screen wash is or has been leaking and has corroded the connections onto the switch.
