VAG-COM Beta 702.4 released 12 March 2007

Featured Replies

I see on Ross-Tech's site that Beta 702.3 has been released to cater for Vista-64 (for which it is required) and Vista-32. Could Uwe please confirm that it should be fully backwardly compatible with Win XP SP2 since I am very interested in giving it a try with my HEX+CAN-USB interface. :)

As usual VAG-COM is compatible with all versions of Windows, in this particular case the release notes mention that Windows 95 and NT are excluded - but Windows 98, ME, 2000 and XP are fully supported. Personally working with 702.3 and Windows XP on 2 computers and one with 2000 running.

I wondered when this would surface after seeing a snapshot of it on one of your posts elsewhere Sebastian ;) .

Just getting it now and look forward to giving it a go. I'm kinda hoping that my car will be well supported Sebastian ;)

Do we know what the changes were?

Just minor fixes like a problem with the automatic update.
