Octy II clutch - is it just me?

Featured Replies

I have had my 06 plate Octy II vRS TFSI 2 months/2k miles now, and the clutch pedal feels to me that it doesn't bite until extremely high (virtually have to take my foot off). Is this just me or have other Octy II owners with manual gearbox found similar? the car is going in for its first service in a couple of days (at 14,500 miles) and I'm wondering whether to mention it or not. can't decide whether it's just 'different' to my previous car or if there is a fault with it. I am no expert (understatement) but I thought a clutch only felt this way when it was seriously worn - that can't be with only 14,500 miles on the car can it???

Mines about third of pedal travel upwards,i would get it checked over def prob there
