I'm thinking of getting a ECU remap done on my Fabia Vrs (picking it up tommorrow) but have been wondering about switchable remaps. Is there any reasons why I couldn't pick up a second-hand switching box or is it linked to the ECU of the car it was sold to?

I've heard the AMD'one-click' was taylored to a particular ECU, and copuldn't be moved between cars........ could be wrong though

you would need the remap that suits the switching device so for an SPS you'd need revo and like wise for AMD but i'm not sure if you would need the switching device from the start or not. best to ask the tuner
