Sudden engine cut out! VRS

Featured Replies

Hi guys, has anyone experienced thier engine totally shutting down with no warning? It has happen 3 time now to my car, once when cold once when hot and once just after staring..... most bizzare also no warnig lights and all electricals still function. Any clues?

It has happened to mine in the past, but it was the one and only time I was running 95 RON petrol. Just died on the motorway but once pulled over it started ok and everything was fine. This happened 3 or 4 times till the tank ran out, filled with 99 RON and since then its been behaving itself.

i've had something similar on mine but i've got deisel.... i just blamed it on my bad clutch control
