Posting on behalf of my father.

Recently my dads 2 tone horn has stopped sounding the lower tone. He has been at the garage under warrently but they keep telling him its ok its still sounding (but only 1 tone is being sounded). If my dads buys air horns how would this affect the car with the canbus (multiplex) wiring? Or can he fix the origanal?

I'd say first step would be to go to the dealer's, demonstrate the horn in another Octy against the one in your father's - then tell them to fix it properly...

If that fails, are there any other dealers locally he could try?

I don't think the horn is directly connected to CANBUS, so fitting a replacement air horn shouldn't be a problem...but on a car under warranty it's not really acceptable to have to pay to fix a problem like this!
