this is nader again , i want to know when shall the AT oil shall be replaced for octavia model 2003 ,

If i'm not mistaken, all VW's (and skodas, audis and seats) have "sealed" automatic transmissions wich have an oil that is supposed to last for "lifetime".

Of course, "lifetime" means the warranty period. It's not eternal.

Auto transmissions should have their oil changed every (old school estimate) 40k-50k kms, depending on weather, use, etc etc.

I really hate this "lifetime" hoax VW promises.

Good call; I've also seen 50k miles transmission oil changes quoted by ZF (who really should know) on other makes, when the car maker says "for life".
