Just bought the second Fabia in 2 months.

After buying a Fabia diesel for the boss.(wife). Tha parents needed a fresh car ,so as i have been so impressed with the bosses i have bought a 6month old, Fabia 1.2 classic for the parents.I and they, find it very nippy and not at all slow as i have been led to believe.

One question though,what mpg should i expect from everyday running from a 1.2 64hp ?.

Red, I can beat your purchase record. I bought 2 Fabias in 2 weeks. One for my mother and one for me. Both of "ours" are Tdi's.

According to Parker's Car Price Guide the 1.2 should return 47mpg.

All depends on what the traffic conditions etc are like, typically what i found its around 51-59 mpg to work and coming back when theres is more stop-start traffic its around 45-49 mpg, so if you have a relaxed and steady driving style you'll be looking a figures from late 40s upto the mid 50s
