yep, mine is a whiner!! the air-con pump whines too sometimes

Although I think this poll has merit, I wonder if the use of info is limited cos we don't know which gearbox each contributor has. I don't mean to be "picky" or to appear so.

i was looking at vrs gearboxs hence the 6 gears to choose from but point taken i should have specified.

i guess therefore it can be open to all fabia owners.

If I had read the poll properly I would have seen you must have meant the Vrs cos they are the only ones with 6 gears (so far as I know). Entirely my fault.

Yup, it does indeed do it in 2nd, but only slightly. It's not intrusive. I'll wait for it to get worse before taking it in I think, if it does get worse.
