Picking up my Octavia 2.0 FSI Sport tomorrow, is there a running period????????

screw running in, drive it hard all day every day of its life and it will be more responsive and powerful than driving it like a nancy. but always let it warm up first

Yeah, 1000 miles before you boot it etc. I think mine lasted till the following day before I floored it! Then again, as said above, make sure the engine is fully warm first.

The running in procedure is on page 221 of the Owner's Manual. Have fun.
