Re: Octavia vRS WRC Limited Edition Register

Featured Replies

Hi Is there any more info : re the register of Octavia VRS WRC's? I think no 84 has been sold on. I have still got no 80 and still happily driving around St.Helens Merseyside enjoying the admiring glances! Had to have the coil springs replaced at 24000 miles! One almighty ping one day!nearly 5 years old and looking as good as ever except for the white alloys which are a nuisance to clean!

Well I still have number 69 (wahay) driving round the midlands (mainly M42)

in the year I have had it I have had the coils springs replaced (migthy ping) got them changed on warrenty as the car had an extended warrenty.

Arb bushes replaced.

a Turbo pipe resealed (FOC), and just had to replace a coil pack (Today).

The car has been remapped and using the the block 120 dyno it reckoned 220bhp :-)

Sounds good to me. Can you still get the green vinyls from a dealer cos some numbskull has decided to nail a scratch all along the passenger rear side. He / she finished off by putting the nail under my rear wheel! Just come back from a road trip to Eastern Germany and Czech Republic. Wow man - what an experience. The locals loved the motor.

If you mean the decals i hear that they are very expensive.:thumbdwn:

Yeh I do mean decals - couldnt think of the word! Sounds ominous. May have to resort to a paint match touch up job-ee. On a different note does anyone know of a helpful friendly mechanic who can help me put my Rapid Mk1 Convertible and my repannelled Rapid 130 back on the road? I live in St.Helens Merseyside
