i have the codes 16486(air flow meter) and 01314 (engine management system) showing on my rs do you think it will do damage if i drive it till i can get it fixed?

i bought the car with a pipercross cone filter on it would this be blowing the air flow meter?

The problem with these codes is, they are not complete. Especially the 01314 is meaningless without the "fault type" usually shown by VAG-COM in the line below.

When posting fault codes, the optimal way is to either post an entire [Auto-Scan] or to use the [Copy/Save Codes] button on the control modules fault code screen.
