Bit of advice...

Just been informed of a promotion at work including new location( ) that will reduce my annual mileage from over 25,000 to around 10,000. I am currently on variable, which due to motorway driving kicks in at approx every 17,000 miles. Would I be better suited to stick with variable or go for a fixed schedule?.

If fixed what are the normal intervals and approx costs?

10k for fixed so once a year which sounds better.

Personally Id want it on fixed for peace of mind with the car at that mileage.
