3 flash indicator - Octavia vrs?

Featured Replies

Is it possible to enable the three flashes feature (by one nudge of the stalk) on an 04/05 Octavia vrs, just like the fabias have?

Try: 09-Cent.Elect -> Coding -> Long Coding Helper. Byte 2, Bit 1.

I think 04/05 will be a 1U chassis Uwe.

Oh -- damn -- we don't get Skodas here, so they tend to confuse me. In my mind, the Octy is just a Golf/Jetta wearing different clothes. ;-)

I believe the 1Z was introduced in model year 2004, but sold along side the 1U, and I guess the 1Z VRS didn't arrive until model-year 2006?

Anyway if it's a 1U, the flashers aren't computer controlled and it would need a different flasher relay, much like the B5 Passat being discussed in this thread.

Uwe

1Z is A5 Platform (Mkv Golf etc)

1U is A4 Platform (MkIV GOlf etc)

They do stil produce the 1U for some countries and I believe it is also sold here as the Octavia Tour - Mainly for Taxi's.

...for those who like the fully working and highly reliable old model - also still available here in Germany.

Problems with yours then or just a general comment? ;)

General comment. :D Mine if fine, except the "normal" flaky rain/light sensor.
