I've read a few posts where people are talking about the VAG Com software. I assume it is something that reads the onboard computer on the car??

Is it worth getting and what else do I need. Also where do I get it all, how much etc??

Your right it reads just like the machine the dealers use to diagnose faultsand change some things eg anti hijack
