Can anyone help i want to change the standard alloy wheels on my 02 octy vrs

I want to put standard audi tt alloys but have noticed that my wheels have an offset of et38 and the audi are et32

im just a bit confused with the et38/32 what does this stand for and will they fit without any problems

Seems that the lower the et the further they stick out of the arches, so the audi wheels will be 6mm further outwards than the wheels you have on now, i have just had 18" Audi Rs6 replicas fitted with et38 and they are bang on level with the arch, hope this helps.

Let me know if you will be looking to sell the 5 original vrs alloys, would look good on my 1.8 t estate!
