Forge FMIC and the aircon radiator

Featured Replies

In case you have the Forge FMIC for the Fabia (vRS more than likely), please check the pipes are not rubbing through (!!) the aircon radiator.

This happened on mine, and the cost of a new replacement part is quite high. I've managed to get lucky and a second hand item is underway, luckily :)

I intend to use some rubber to space the FMIC from the aircon radiator so it wont be rubbing any longer - this ought to prevent this from happening again.

I havent got pictures unfortunately but please check, if it wears through it will cost you a lot, if you get it done before that happens, you can stop it going through with a little effort and a bit of spacing, hopefully.

Assuming I can find some form of digital camera back, I will try to take some snaps when this is sorted out, which won't be for at least 2 weeks, probably 3 weeks, due to my work schedule etc.

Who originally fitted yours? It shouldn't be touching it at all!!
