Another problem - Maxi-Dot display not appearing

Featured Replies

Just when I sorted out my gearbox not shifting problems, another one has arised.

My Maxi-Dot display was working fine until I went to a shopping mall and when I wanted to drive off after the shopping, realised that the maxi-dot display was blank.

The rest of the instrument display (temp, fuel guage, speedo, tacho, headlights, high beam etc.) are all working except the maxi-dot.

Any clues anyone?

This is getting to be a habit... something breaking down after another :thumbdwn: Sigh....

Do you have a little button under the wiper stalk ?? - this is the button that is used to reset the computer display -- but if you just press the button briefly it will turn the computer display off -- just press it again and it should come back on.

If that doesnt work you could try disconnecting the battery for thirty seconds.

If that doesnt work then it sounds like your dashpod is fubard.

I do have that button actually... but previously it was used to change the display - between display 1 and 2, different fuel consumption figures...

Anyway... Will give your suggestions a shot tomorrow... thanks dude! :)
