wheel speed sensors

Featured Replies

one of the other faults my love;y fabia has is that the rear left wheel speed sensor isnt working so no ABS. i was going to get one from the daler but they want

Does any electrical part look ike its worth its value...lol.

You can get a couple from a scrappy sure, look out for Fabia, Polo, Ibiza of about the same age and try your luck.

Personally i'd pay the £60, you know its right for the car and the part has 12 months warranty on it.

That is of course that the sensor is faulty and its not the bearing.

yer i hope its the sensor if its the bearing then thats going to be a big job! do the trigger disks often break? i can't see how its just a disk with some cut outs

matt

The pick up is internal to the bearing, if the bearing has issues (which is fairly common) it can't pick up a signal.

sounds expensive :(

lets hope a new sensor works

You obviously haven't seen the price of the ABS control unit/pump yet then. I hope it ain't that.
