I scratched the offside wing above the filler when I reversed into a hedge which had cut branches hidden and it left some not very deep scratches. I got a quote from the local Skoda dealer for

if you can feel it with your nail then it may just be too deep. You might be lucky and get away with a compound and polish. My uncle's bodyshop does the body repair for the local Skoda dealer(s.) It depends how anal you want to be with paint warrenty ect but if it was me I'd be going to a bodyshop that I knew and trusted.

My uncle is recognised as one of the best in the area but not all dealers will use the best, they often prefer cheap. It depends how profit driven the dealership is.
