buying new octi combi

Featured Replies

Hi All

just like to start off by saying well done on a smart, informative, and well put together site  .

i have been lurking around for a few weeks now! picking up bits of info to use against the dealers, so heres what i'v come up with and i'd like your opinons?

New 2.0lt DTI (140bhp) elegance combi anthacite grey.

Extras:

  • pegasus 17" alloy's
  • maxi dot
  • xenon headlights
  • phone prep/ Is bluetooth an option?
  • rear cup holders for the little ones
  • luggage net combo
  • boot liner (flat)
  • non smoker pack

is there any photo's of this color out there? it's that or silver.

I could just about push for a passat comfortline 1.9 saloon but i think that the octaivia would be every bit as good a car esspecaly in the 20ltr.

Cheers

Jon.

Hi and welcome. Your choice sounds good and will beat the pants off a 1.9 Passat. Not that there is anything wrong with the 1.9tdi, but if your budget car cope with the 2.00 then go for it.

pegasus 17" alloy's - Nice

maxi dot - Very useful

xenon headlights - Very useful

phone prep/ Is bluetooth an option? - I think BT is in Europe but not UK. Cradles are limiting

rear cup holders for the little ones - Nice Idea

luggage net combo - Well worth it

boot liner (flat) - Well worth it

non smoker pack - Why not, if you don't smoke.

Had you considered parking sensors? Can't remember if they are standard on the Elegance or not.

Rear parking sensors are std on uk spec Elegance, ^^

Nice spec of car,
