Im with you there mate, when i get mine sorted i might get it done.

I would like to see there car's on a rolling road. Don't think I've seen one.

When you do get around to putting it on a RR, make sure you also get an AFR and boost pressure print out.

il wait till i get my extra bits and bobs then ill go for it,:)

Looking at the Chipboost web site, I see the price is up to £250 + VAT, also they only quote and increase from 180bhp to 205 bhp for the 1.8T.

Be interesting to see the print out from a set of "RELIABLE" and "PROVEN" rollers.

Anywhere between 200 and 225.

IF my car is running 205 bhp with the pipercross panel filter full 100 cell blueflame system and t.i.p what will the bhp be then do you think........

Having never seen a Chipboost car on the rollers its hard to tell, also is depends how friendly the rollers are:rolleyes:   :D

Also, its not all about the top figures, its how the car drives and holds power across the rev band.

hope its more thna 200bhp.................

is there much difference in 20 bhp do you think.

On the Rolling Roads, 20hp show's quite cleanly.... On the road, 20hp, doesn't show anything, infact, I'd doubt you'd notice one car is pulling away by much.

Andyrew can back me up on that, when I had a 60hp gain over his car, and didn't pull away in a straight line by a lot, or by hardly anything..

my 2p worth - clean the airfilter a day or two before you RR - if you want the best numbers!!

Cheers
