tap tap tap octy RS

Featured Replies

I have an intermittent tap tap tap tap sound coming from my driver footwell area - sounds like its coming from the engine area (well the other side of the well) but it seems to travel all the way up the dash as well - i first thought it was coming from the vents - but i have traced it now.

Anyone got any ideas what the problem could be?

By the way it only happens on idle intermitently!

Ta:)

Probably the flap motors problem that many of us suffer with.

What do they do?

It's a sort of clicking noise, on mine it's mainly when the car has just been started for the first mile or so.

I've had the SW update but to no avail.

It will do it for up to 5 mins at a time.

Yeah, it does sound like the Flapmotor problem for the air con as that is exactly how I tried to describe it to the dealer!

Same as VRStu, had software updated and no real improvement! Ho Hum!

Been told to wait as Skoda still working on a further fix for this....... Not holding my breath! Was also told that they were hoping Skoda would investigate a fix for the none cancelling indicators which some of us have as well!!
