hallo everyone

Can anyone please advise me on the correct wiring for a new radio/cassette for a 1997 Felicia Estate?

I'm OK with the speaker connections but not the rest.

On the existing plug there are 5 sockets:- orange,yellow.brown,black and 2 orange in one socket.

On the new plug there is just a black(earth) and red(ignition)

Any ideas which of the five to connect to the new plug?

When I installed my stereo on the felicia it just plugged straight into the existing plug that was in the car.

If not i know that you can buy adapters to convert the plug thats in the car to one that a standard car stereo will fit into.

err.. i probably wont be a straight plug-in job... well the plug will fit but the wires are in a different place... with the standard felicia wiring, an after market radio will only switch on when you turn the lights on iirc...

let me have a gander at my wiring diagrams in the morning and i'll get back to you
