Me and the bloke sitting next to me at work say yes.

He doesn't drive a Skoda, does his vote still count?

o/t I was looking at SE K800s at lunchtime - given that the 2mp camera in my K750 is great, I can't wait to upgrade to a 3.2mp with xenon flash and image stabilising software in August!!!

You might not like this one, but I think it could be interesting with a bit of imagination. This weeks theme is.......... VANITY

Correction, the theme is now BEST OF BRITISH as WaveyDavey came back on line a few minutes after this was posted. sorry for the mix up guys.

OK, sorry to change the theme, but it is now BEST of BRITISH

I will amend my earlier post.

And congrats by the way

Whichever one is decided, from my Art & History lessons, IIRC vanity was symbolised in western art as a peacock and in biblical terms, the Whore of Babylon......just got to find her and get a picture.......:)

Also symbolised by a woman laying on a bed or couch for instance......

I'm going to check to find out if that's ar$e or I did pay attention in Art & Histoty.

Hmmmm.

Best of british it is.....GAME ON!!!

When does it close? 7 days from now?

Hey i forgot about this and i'm the judge this time around...... :D

Yep come on guys & gals lets have your Best Of British piccies....... Shall we say all entries by next Tuesday???? Gives you a chance to take the pics over the weekend and then pop them online etc......

This was a modern sculpture using modern kitchen iconography to depict the industrial nature of the once proud Steel Works in my native North East, as can be seen my the eating utensils striving in an upward ascending manner, progressing in a tensile way towards the heavens. I call it

Nice shots you have there.

Tea of the North:rofl: that could be a winner.

My claim to fame. I had the pleasure of working for Antony Gormley who of course designed the Angel Of The North:cool:
