towing

Featured Replies

I am looking to tow a caravan with my 2002 fabia estate 1.9 TDi does anyone know the maximum weight I can tow please. cannot find it in the owners manual

The information for the Octavia is in the Technical Data booklet which comes with the car. I would expect the Fabia to come with a similar booklet - which is the same handy size as the Owner's Manual and the Service Schedule. Have a look in the document wallet for it.

I'd be surprised if it said you could pull more than the gross weight of your car. I should imagine it would cope with 1200kgs though. :)

I cannot find the wallet at the moment only the owners manual must have put it somewhere safe!!

I'm pretty sure that the 1.9SDI estate was 800 kg, but the 1.9 TDI estates are now 1000 kg.

My Fabia Combi 1.9 TDI can only tow 1000kg with brakes. Makes you wonder how come a Kia Ceed 2.0 gasoline can tow 1500kgs...

Tried the Skoda site ??

This might help. :)

Skoda

Max tow is 1000kg with a noseweight of 50 kg.
