As described really. The car (25 months old) was looked at today with broken Air Con. I'm told the high pressure sensor for the Air Con needs replacing.

Should I expect this to be fixed under warranty? I'd expect things like sensors aren't disposable.

I would say so. I know my air con sensor that broke (evap temp sensor) would have been replaced had it broken during the warranty period....

99% sure they'l replace this for you as long as the vehicle has done less than 60k

Your local dealership will need to inspect the vehicle first to make sure it's the sensor that is gubbed. If although the compressor needs re-charged then that is chargeable to the customer unless re-charging the compressor doesn't solve the prob.

And remember self diagnosis will log a fault with the pressure switch is the system is low on pressure.
