Anyone have a Creative mp3 player????

Featured Replies

Hi people,

I bought my girlfriend a Creative Zen Micro for Christmas 2005 and she loves it, blah blah blah :D

Anyway, since then I have recently upgraded my PC and started with a fresh install of all my applications and progs - only to find that I no longer have (read: she lost!) the Creative Zen installation CD.

This is really annoying as the playlist creator and stuff is on that CD.

So, does anyone have a copy that they are willing to make an ISO image of so I can burn my own?????

And before anybody suggests downloading the drivers off the creative web site, I have already tried that to no avail.

Also, any other suggestions are welcome!

Joe

Sent you a PM

I have the same problem. I have a Zen Micro from about the same era and cant find the CD and the software on the site isnt the right one for it :( So now I have an MP3 with no way of putting music onto it

@ mluton - Yes, Pembo and I KNOW it's free from Creative, but the software on the website doesn't seem to work. It installs ok, but doesn't recognise the Zen when it's plugged in to the PC.......

@ PEMBO - Damn pain in the **** isn't it?!!!

as far as transferring the music is concerned, have you tried using windows media player ?(I know, I know) - but I'm sure i used to just use that for ripping and then then transferring, without opening up the Creative software.

The mp3 doesnt show up as an external device (ie usb stick) so it wont sync music over to it :( Unless you put it into removable storage mode, then music can be transfered. The problem with the is the mp3 player side of it wont play music thats on the removable drive partition

Bummer. might it be different because mine is an older Zen Touch, with an actual hard drive, rather than solid state ?
