Crazy mirrors

Featured Replies

My door mirrors have suddenly had a change in the way they operate.

Normally, the "L" operates the left hand mirror and the "R" operates the right hand one.

All of a sudden, the "L" operates the left hand one, but the "R" operates both at the same time!!

Anyone else got this???

They have to be reset.

Somehow.

Mine did this, and I got the child to fix them.

Do you want to borrow her.

I can deliver.

i think disconnecting the battery will reset them , but don't quote me on this

Sorry guys, I think this is normal :P

Mine does it too, if you look on your furby, does it say "L" and "R & L" and possibly the heater symbol too?

If so adjust the R & L first to set the right hand mirror. Then, once done do the left one by selecting L.

Sorted

I thought it was a normal function, designed so that you don't have to adjust both. Not sure if mine does it but seen it on many cars.

Mine does the same thing - dealer confirmed it was normal...

Hmmmmmm.....strange......some do, some don't!

It's not a real problem, because as Pembo says, I just adjust both, and then re-adjust the LHS one.

Just thougt it was a bit weird.

Tis normal, its in the owners manual and covered on here loads

Yes but the chap original said that his worked like mine do..... L for left mirror & R for right mirror.... No adjustment of both..... Mine works like this and i have no way of adjusting both mirrors at once. Wasn't it the pre facelift cars that adjusted the mirrors both at once???

I suspect they need a reset as mentioned above.

Cheers

Dave.
